Dr. Kimberly wright and a patient checking a x-ray on a x-ray machine

During your first visit to our office, our staff will provide a comprehensive exam. We’ll look at all of your mouth’s supporting structures, including your teeth, gums, jaw joints and muscles, and surrounding soft tissues of your head and neck. If you have any dental, cosmetic or pain-related concerns, discuss them with Dr. Wright at this time.

We must receive all up-to-date x-rays from your previous dentist or orthodontist to diagnose your condition—without them, we can’t know the potential issues going on in your mouth. We’ll gladly help obtain your dental records—we just may need you to first sign a records release, if required by the dental office.

We’ll also review your medical history, including a list of medical conditions, any medications taken and the dosages of each. If at all possible, bring a written list of your medications and dosages with you.

Scheduling

We provide excellent care for patients—one patient at a time. We do our very best to run on time, limiting your waiting time. However, emergency situations do arise that may delay your appointment. If this should occur, we’ll inform you of any delay and appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you’re experiencing a dental emergency or pain, call as early in the day as possible and we’ll do our best to see you that same day.

Flexibly accommodating most patients’ schedules is important to us, so our office is open Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
