Dr. Kristan Rodriguez

Dr. Kristan Rodriguez grew up traveling all over Europe as a kid since her dad was in the Air Force. Her dad’s last tour of duty landed her family in Anchorage, Alaska, where she graduated high school and college. After graduating with a degree in biology from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2012, Dr. Rodriguez moved to Texas to start her dream of becoming a dentist. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for dental school. She realized after dental school that she wanted to increase her skill set and decided to spend an extra two years in an advanced post-graduate training program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. This rigorous program is well known for advanced training in restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, and cosmetic dentistry utilizing modern technology.

In addition to her residency, she completed Implant Preceptorship and IV Sedation training. After many years in school and training, her family decided it was time to move closer to family in Portland. It feels like the home she never knew she always needed.

Dr. Rodriguez prides herself in providing the best care by practicing comprehensive dental care and becoming an advocate for her patient’s overall health. She knows that she must obtain the best dental training in advanced general dentistry to give her patients the best possible care. Dr. Kristan recently started and completed the first course at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, and is on track to complete the entire continuum over the next few years. She knows that it is essential for patients to gain trust, feel heard, and be appreciated in their dental home, and her goal is to build strong relationships that last a lifetime.

Dr. Kristan and her husband have been married for 18 years. They have two boys, Mark and Emmett, who attend high school and middle school in Wilsonville, Oregon. She loves working in her yard, flying back to Alaska to see family and go fishing, and spending as much time with her kids as possible.
